Hi everyone,
Joined yesterday and just noticed this discussion topic. Aside from starting with an email here I don't quite know what to do. It seems that many discussions here involve people who are already quite highly practiced in the art of selflessness and unity, whereas I am only just starting.

When you think of me you should think of me as a philosopher/physicist and I come to ANH because philo/phys tells me that theoretically I should! No really, it's seems that I think abstractly, so I can only be here in theory (if you see what I mean). I don't only need help directing my feelings to the Oneness, but I need help getting in touch with those feelings in the first place! My expectation (nay knowledge) is that unity gains its strength from its diversity; so when people see me as different they might just possibly be able to see how the One might get strength from what I offer.

I really must be such a strange person; I wonder what it's like to be 'normal'?!

I see lots of expressions of love in your emails. I would love to feel them myself. I know (theoretically) that I should feel them and that I should be able to offer love unconditionally and wholeheartedly and receive it equally. But I just keep on thinking objectively and theoretically.

Whether people realise it or not we are all just a great big Oneness in the universe (and it's love that unites us all). I realise it, I know it. So why don't I actually feel it?

The other thing is that when I read your discussions, because I think in a very detached way, I get a bit confused as to how I should respond or contribute. You see if someone lives a life A and believes that living life A contributes to the overall good, but I think it most definately doesn't then what do I do? Do I tell them what I think and appear abbrasive? Or do I suffer in silence? It seems that neither of these options is good for an overall increase in the goodness of the One.

There may be a simple answer to this, perhaps someone can suggest it, but it doesn't alter the fact that it is this sort of philosophical question that always attracts my attention and gives me the energy that keeps me going. Are there any philosophical discussions going on here?

Anyway, that intro will do for now. So love and good luck to everyone (I wish love to everyone - that bit is easy. But should I wish good luck to somebody who isn't doing the right thing? - you see I'm doing it again)

Anyway, the general aim of ANH is good. Looking at the specifics of this forum, does anybody think that it might be helpful to have a system of "mentors", or "hand-holders" for newer members? Personally I feel like I'm plunging into the deep end with no-one to hold my hand.

Does anyone want to hold my hand?

Mainly The Alliance is here so you can Contribute, to the Greater Good, by Being The Change you Wish Upon this World. The intro pages do a great job of establishing areas of self exploration, growth & enthusiastic collaboration. For each of us comes with their unique experiential perspective and some are natural mentors, others are working on themselves - not accordingly to some pre-established precept of being but to both find-feel the most harmonious version of Self.

Some, have specific beliefs as to how this should be, or is, engaging SoulY with likeminded playmates and the kaleidoscopic Man*I*Fest*a*Ion is as numerous as the individual count of members. Ranging from the solitary journeying through inner-space to the HyperActiveLinking to Group Creation but most importantly, IT's the diversity of Oneness through affinities, conversations, collaboration and the likes which ultimately creates ITs own win-win synergistic pattern of emergence - or reMEmBEring.

I encourage you to Trust YourSelf and perhaps imagine that the synchronistic haphazard manner of life is your SynchroDestiny...

By all means start a Philosophical discussion & respond as you feel you should or want to - it's sure to be instructive and revealing of your inner life.

I spent almost my full first year as an ANH Member, in the reMEmBEring process. Then another couple of months - where I began interacting with others - taught me what I truly wanted to both experience and share/contribute; a Self-Affirming if you wish. And these last months I AM Focusing on what I can contribute while adapting my lifestyle to reflect this exponential expansion of Cosmic Consciousness so I can also feel IT via daily I'mPossible simplicity.

A*Gain, Trust where/whom you wish to connect with. As to suffering in silence... Well, you might discover there are other options where your voice can contribute to this Global Dialogue outside the dualistic paradigm and not ass*u*me you are responsible for others' perceptions... I can personally testify that Aurora Carlson's really terrific at this...
