Jenny, your work sounds very nurturing. Imagine a baby teaching kids about compassion! Sweet! I'm hoping to work more with kids/youth. I'm currently unemployed and making connections that hopefully will open the door to my next job.

Roseann and Jenny,
Sounds like International Day of Peace on September 21 has us booked in different places. Silversong has joined our network and she is founder of Honor Day (www.honorday.org) on August 16 at the Seattle Center. I'd love for us to meet and join forces. Is that of interest and is it practical for you? I'm asking her if we can have a presence. What do you think?

Jenny, Your training sounds great! Where is the ROE program implemented? I also worked with teen moms and babies for many years. I've since graduated to college students, but loved working with the babies! Bonding and attachment are crucial, otherwise another generation of teen parents are created.

It's so fun to be in this process of attraction! What is our core common ground that pulls us together? I'm involved with Roots and Shoots (a Jane Goodall international program for youth) International Day of Peace and have made a couple of giant peace dove pupperts for our events/concerts. We will be having an event on September 21 at Bellevue Community College near Seattle. Could we have a table for ANH Pacific Northwest? Or would we like to present something? It's a Monday this year. Thank you for including "coaching"! Can't believe I left that out as I am a life coach and the model we use is probably more coaching than teaching!

It's great to see other NW'ers here! I've started a group here on ANH called Ambassadors for Peace. We will be doing workshops about global peacemaking and reconciliation models. We want to teach high school and college students, the future leaders, so they become natural peacemakers. We're in Portland. Just came back from Seattle today. Thinking of someday living in Orcas or Whidbey Island. Hear there's more sunshine there, is it true?
