the flap of a butterfly's wings in the Brazilian rain forest, that moves the air, that redirects the breeze, that alters the wind, and eventually leads to a hurricane moving up the east coast of America. A small change... incredible outcome.

Typing error, of course it should read Deepak. I was in France during the New Age movement, left the west coast at the end of the Beatnik era, so lived the Hippie movement through the French ' 60s culture. Sagan, Reeves, and so many other scientific figures have devoted precious time in an attempt to alert public opinion. I feel that they deserve our support.

Good evening, Patrick and thank you. We can all appreciate the pertinence of your answer. Certain inexplicable experiences during an extended return to California a few years ago have brought me to Jung and Deepok today. I am simply here in a marvelous universe that deserves our attention and care.

The Invitation - Oriah Mountain Dreamer
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, or fade it, or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself. If you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty even when it is not pretty every day. And if you can source your own life from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, 'Yes.'

It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.

It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

May I know a little more about your group and its activities? I notice that you refer to London, though the group's title seems to indicate France.

Hi all,

The next meeting will be on Wednesday August 19, 2009 @ 19:00 hours.

Thank you Jerry for agreeing to facilitate this 3rd Chapter of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success - The Law of “Karma” or Cause & Effect.

Here is a passage from this 3rd Law.

Wheather you like it or not, everything that is happening at this moment is a result of the choices you’ve made in the past. Unfortunately, a lot of us make choices unconsciously, and therefore we don’t think they are choices – and yet, there are… …..… In other words, most of us – even though we are infinite choice-makers – have become bundles of conditioned reflexes that are constantly being triggered by people and circumstances into predictable outcomes of behaviour.

Jerry, we look forward to more insight into this Law Aug. 19.

I’ll be giving a talk on Earth Angels based on the book by Doreen Virtue and here is a little insight into this fascinating topic.

Chapter 1 – Are you an Earth Angel?

“Do you feel different from other people, as if you were dropped off on this planet and wonder when someone’s coming to take you home? Do you have a passion and a talent for healing, teaching or helping others, yet you yourself have substance abuse problems, weight issues, relationship challenges, and the like? If you’re highly sensitive and you abhour voilence in any form, then you may be an Earth Angel.

Finally, Emma has asked me to forward this e-mail below to my mailing list in case she missed anyone. Apologies to those who have already received this.

Further to our get together last week, and for those who were not able to make it, here is the information on the Fourth Plinth initiative.

As many of you will know, the artist Antony Gormley is currently responsible for the installation on Trafalgar Square's fourth plinth. He is putting people on the plinth to do what they wish - each one on there for an hour - this going on 24 hours a day until early October.

The project is called One and Other and is described by the artist as “a living monument” and “a representation of the whole of humanity”. People are being selected from a draw taking place each month.

I have applied with the idea that if - by any chance - I get selected I will take a banner or board or something with me which will carry the message "We Are All One" , which is the message of Humanity’s Team - along with the HT website address and details of their Oneness Day petition.

Humanity’s Team is a grassroots movement whose purpose is to Awaken the World to Oneness. HT has created a history-changing petition to the United Nations. It asks the UN to establish a day each year in which the world unites in Oneness for the greater good of the Human Family.

For those of you not familiar with Humanity’s Team the UK website address is www.humanitysteam.org.uk.

To see the Petition go to: www.humanitysteam.org/sai/oneness-petition/document

If everyone in the UK who is a member of Humanity’s Team – or who resonates with their message that “We Are All One” - and is willing to put themselves forward to stand on the plinth applies via the website at www.oneandother.co.uk the likelihood of "one of us" (excuse the pun!) being selected would be higher.

If one of us is selected and let’s me know (at emmasmith195@btinternet.com ) know I will let HT know and will arrange for other like-hearted people – including me (unless I’m the one on the plinth!) to support you on the day and we will carry the message with you – with flyers providing information on Humanity’s Team and the petition.

I believe that the One and Other project is an ideal platform for the message that We Are All One.

What do you think? It’s a scary idea for many of us I know – but life begins at the edge of our comfort zone!

Let’s do it. I dare you!

I look forward to your thoughts...

Blessings

Emma

Hi all,

The next TLC meeting will be this Wednesday 22 July @ 19:00 hours

We will be covering chapter Two of Chopra’s book, “The seven spiritual Laws of success” entitled The Law of Giving.

Here is a paragraph from page 30 of the book:

It is the intention behind the giving and receiving that is the most important thing. The intention should always be to create happiness for the giver and receiver, because happiness is life-supporting and life-sustaining and therefore generates increase. The return is directly proportional to the giving when it is unconditional and from the heart. That is why the act of giving has to be joyful – the frame of mind has to be one in which you feel joy in the very act of giving. Then the energy behind the giving increases many times over.

You may have all read Sheila’s e-mail to the group:

From Sheila to Group. Hello everyone. Blessings to all. Next meeting is on 22 July. As agreed, homework is (a) practise the Sufi breathing exercise in meditation at home. (b) do one of the exercises from the First Law (a period of silence, a period of meditation, a period of non-judgment, or communing with nature). Thirdly, read the Second Law in Deepak Chopra's THE SEVEN SPIRITUAL LAWS OF SUCCESS, namely the law of giving and receiving. This we will go over together on the 22nd, and we will also try out the other half of the Sufi breathing exercise. See you then.

Quire unrelated to this, I leave you with a poem that someone just gave to me and I’d like to share it with you:

Catriana Mulholland has sent you a message on Alliance for a New Humanity

Still highly recommend reading Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth; and The Power of Now if anyone's not read them... Guaranteed to make a difference...Most of us get lost or trapped in the movement of thought...How to find some peace and develop our own potential.

"Resistance is an inner contraction, a hardening of the shell of the ego. You are closed. Whatever action you take in a state of inner resistance (which we could also call negativity) will create more outer resistance and the universe will not be on your side; life will not be helpful. If the shutters are closed, the sunlight cannot come in. When you yield internally [becoming fully present in the moment] a new dimension of consciousness opens up."
Love Catriana x

I AM
I am the wind which rustles your hair. I am the sun which warms your body. I am the rain which dances on your face. I am the smell of flowes in the air, and I am the flowers which send their fragance upward. I am the air which carries the fragance.
I am the beginning of your first thought. I am the end of your last. I am the idea which sparked you most brilliant moment. I am the glory of its fulfillment. I am the feeling which fueled the most loving thing you ever did. I am the part of you which yearns for that feeling again and again.
Whatever works for you, whatever makes it happen-whatever ritual, ceremony, demostration, meditation, thought, song word or action it takes for you to “ reconnect”-do this.
Do this in remembrance of me
