That sounds so comforting. Indeed, I need more of nature these days, for sure. I lived in Naples, Fl, for several years a few years back and I had the ocean very close to me. What a blessing! I miss it very much. Mini holidays sound huge!! Time to incorporate some more of those into my life. :)Namaste.
Hi Beebe. I have written a comment answering your last post, but I see it has not come up. Hmm. So I'm writing again. I'm about 45 mins north of NYC. Only large water I have near is the Hudson River. It can be a pretty wide expanse of water to enjoy during all seasons. Like feeding the geese and ducks with my daughter. She really enjoys feeding them. No eagles here. Sometimes I see some hawks in the area. Yellowstone and Hopiland, in northern Arizona, were the last places where I saw eagles up close. So I can appreciate your pics.
Have a wonderful day!
Namaste.
ODear new friend at this wonderful site, where everybody is involved in doing something for beautiful humanity. I'm a humble ancient-modern Mexican mystic who has with God's help learned a lot about life. My main intention is to share all the magnificent wisdom transmitted to me by my Master within.

Let us start by portraying desire...
Aphrodite is the alchemy in one. She is not a virgin Goddess as: Athena, Artemis, or Persephone (virgin in a symbolic way: as pure or inmaculated in thought, not conditioned by social thinking). Neither a mother goddess as: Demeter, Hera or Hestia. She represents desire and alchemy. She is the only goddess that could generate and make some one fall in love with her. She uses the cestus (girdle) as symbol of generation. But this desire has to be for the right reason, clear in thought words and act.
The union of Aphrodite and Ares generated not in balance: Deimos (fear) and Phobos (Panic).
In love and balance their union generated: Harmonia (Harmony) and some versions say that also Eros.
We already are all the virtues, but when the desire is not clear in: understanding, a little doubtful, with a speckle of fear or without patience... the outcome may be not as expected. This is the reason why sometimes we have to balance our desires by calling other goddess or gods to help us make the desire: with love and in harmony. Then the outcome will be as expected.
Give it a little thought. Mars, is the planet that represent Ares, and Venus the planet that represent Aphrodite. They are just separated by Earth. The months that represent them. March: Ares and April: Aphrodite. Maybe these expressions are showing us something important.
Dear Beebe,
Jean Shinoda Bolen, has been a great inspiration mostly because she unveils the symbolic aspect of the Gods and Goddesses of the Greek and Roman Pantheon. Both books: Goddesses in every Women and Gods in every men are acute and revealing. Co-creation, mind and desire resolutions, longings desires are so well portrayed in her books. What strikes the most is that you can clearly see the aspect of creation in a balanced way and the unbalanced traits also. We shall be sharing all these aspects at Agape, hope you can join us.
Love

Hello Beebe-- beautiful vision, and beautiful photos! I absolutely love the Pacific North West, and have been to visit many times. Thank you for sharing them, and for the invitation to be your friend. It is wonderful to "meet" so many like-minded souls around the world. Peace, Julie
