A humanity in which all people will KNOW that we truly do come from the same, wondrous source, and that the most fundamental quality of that source is LOVE.
About Me:
Have spent most of my adult life working in science, innovation and technology-based industries (mostly medical). However, have always cared much more about matters of soul and spirit. Over the past few months, circumstances have led me to the point where I feel compelled to listen to my heart and focus seriously on the possibility of doing what i would love most to do, i.e. contributing to the growing streams of consciousness which will soon merge to form a great, unstoppable river, the great global awakening.
On the 'domestic' side, i've been blessed with 2 children (now both in their 20s) - a girl & a boy. I am even more blessed by the love that we have for each other

Thank you for connecting with me and the group I facilitate. I started it in February this year, and at the first meeting, there was me and three others. There are now 15 people who are interested in the group/attend the gatherings.
I run a chiropractic and complementary health centre in the town I live in , so initially I put a notice in the newsletter I send out to about 400 people quarterly. I also created a poster (from the template given by the ANH), had it photocopied, went into town and asked in every shop if they would display it for me. Just meeting the shopkeepers and connecting with them was an encouraging experience.
I don't think it matters what works and what doesn't, just as long as you put the energy out there, you'll attract people who will then put their energy into it. Most of the people who have attended since the first meeting have come through word of mouth, and it wasn't my mouth doing the talking!
The group have asked me to produce some flyers so that they can carry them with them and hand out to people who they mention the group to, and to leave in places they visit. There's a company in the UK who produce business cards for free, so exploring that is the next job on my list.
Now that the group is up and running, I take ultimate responsibility, with the support and input from everyone else. We need to raise some funds so that we can purchase a Tipi/yurt, to take to various events next year to promote our Peace Mountain idea. Opening a bank account and taking responsibility for the money we raise is also on the list.
The Peace Mountain was inspired by Lesley, who attends the gatherings regularly. Her vision is that religion/spirituality/healing are all aiming for the same place (the top of the mountain - peace, love, unity etc), with as many different paths to get to the top as there are people. We want to promote respect between the different paths, and help people get to the top in their own unique way.
Most of the people in the group would not describe themselves as religious (but have explored it), although we do have Vincent, who is Buddhist, and who bought us a chant that he uses as part of his daily practice. We all chanted it together at the end of a gathering, to incorporate it's intention, without the need to be Buddhist ourselves. We experienced the chant as a gift to the group, as another path to the top of the mountain.
