I believe one of the essential keys to world peace is global and personal awareness. I do believe we are headed that way! One by one by one....
About Me:
As a younger woman, when I was living in the midst of seemingly endless challenges I imagined were imposed on me by many outside forces beyond my control, I made a pledge to myself. Instead of fighting my way through, I would try to approach life with love. I decided to make it my goal to “Become Love”.
I didn’t announce this to the world, it was simply the best solution I could come up with to find peace with my own values that seemed to be getting compromised in the challenges of life. Basically I reasoned, how can there ever be world peace if we cannot even manage to work out the disagreements of our own relationships. I have found it very easy to love those who love me, I have not always found it easy to love those who seem to have caused me pain. What better place to begin practicing peace.
While we are so focused on the concept of World Peace, it can be so easy to miss the mark in our own neighborhoods, in our own failed marriages, in our own children. We expect our World Leaders to come together in agreement and yet everyday our courts are filled with all manner of people who cannot seem to find anything to agree on.
So I decided that my best contribution to this world would be to grow in love and walk in grace. Speak kinder words, think kinder thoughts and listen….listen to what others have to say with an open heart. Try and hear with new ears, from a different point of view.
Simple ideas, not always so simple to live. It becomes easier with the passing of years. I find myself more often smiling at the complexities of life, reacting with a gentler reflex. Life also humbles me on a regular basis and reminds me how far I have yet to go!

Hi Marie,
Welcome to Pure Inspiration Group, and thank you for our new friendship. Our smiles shared are majnificent ways to warm each others hearts. Hope to share many smiles with you.
Thanks. There is a lot of beauty on earth. It depends on how we look at it. There is beauty in pictures of plants you took. There is beauty in what you wrote. I appreciate your kind words. I can't paint , so I decided to capture God's paintings from the lens of a camera.
You are right about living and loving. The first step, however hard it may be, is to forgive from the core of our being to all. Then it is not very difficult. The feeling of love and kindness brings peace and joy, true nature of our soul, and washes away resentment, anger and unhappiness. Hope you agree.
Is there going to be a meeting for California group? I will be visiting soon San Jose area in end of January.
Good to hear from you. I liked your pictures. Where is the big Rock in the water? Looks like Phuket, Thailand. Do you do gardening?
