- What is your vision of a new humanity?
- Recognizing that we are all one, connected to each other and to our environment: and embrace the spirit of ubuntu, encompassing a sense of respect, cooperation, kindness and care.
- About Me:
- Born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), at a young age I moved to South Africa with my parents; completing my schooling at the Convent High School in Pietermaritzburg and going on to study English and Political Science at the Natal University. My career successes involved Management, Public Relations and Event Organizing. Following a car accident and horrific injuries, I discovered a mind / body connection, and felt "Gee" I wish everyone could know about this, there needn't be so much pain and suffering in the world. Thus the start of the book which I'm writing entitled, "Touching the Silence." I was able to heal my physical pain; but had not yet seen deep inner tormenting pain. This took me on a search for Truth, taking me through religiosity into spirituality and quantum physics. On this journey I discovered true Self; and the immense power of true love and understanding. Last year I launched the uBuntu Peace Project. The aim is to guide people into striving towards peace and kindness, as opposed to fighting against crime and violence: and to show the importance of respect for all of life. Thank you for your message. My awareness has been revealed to me only recently and yes I would love to meet and learn from and share with you. After my partner was exposed to his spiritual journey early this year I accompanied him to a lecture by John Homewood on the “Mayan Calendar and a new consciousness” in May/June. Before that I was already questioning and understanding my own ‘awareness’ of how I have managed my ‘life’, namely ‘me’. At that lecture my attention was further anchored simply because I was already introspecting my life ‘patterns’/ cycles and certain terminology that John used from references in his presentation was what I wrote off by my own thinking. I then attended John’s workshop that Saturday. He started the workshop with Eckhart Tolle’s – IAM, from A New Earth. I then got the cd and have been listening to it and haven’t yet finished it. At that workshop I picked a card which read – “My point of power is the present”! So in summary, my consciousness has always lurked just beneath my ‘surface’ and I have been aware of it but have had no clarity on it, and am still in that phase my ‘meantime’ = discovery to enlightenment. It has been clouded by my inherent egoic limitation and my getting fatigued with my ‘ life patterns’ was what catapulted me to a point of questioning – “what the heck is wrong here..i refuse to go on with me in this way” – hence my now very conscious attention to investigating and understanding me and my life (cyclic past:ego, pain bodies, content etc) and my need/ craving to what is this more that is dormantly lurking and wants to be free!
From ET’s New Earth there are two points that I believe (from my experience and very limited knowledge) are strong messages for a New Humanity:
- His reference to the collective ego and that this new consciousness with groups of enlightened collectives will be a ‘vortex for a new consciousness” - ..” which will accelerate a planetary shift”.. and;
- As my profile refers to IRO a new humanity – there is a NEED for ALL of us to be truly free from life as ‘it is’. ET refers to is as breaking free.

I have not Deepak Chopra personally yet. But I have been reading some of his books and was deeply interested in his way of living.. I am also reading several books on Quantum physics, Metaphysics and Vedas.I am being able to find peace, harmony and love in every moment of life and I enjoy spending my moments in remembrance of the luminosity in the heart. I am fascinated by the story of your life and how you discovered your true self. would like to hear and share such moments of beauty with you. Thank you and God bless you
